  1. Miranda,
I love the artifact that you chose. That is so cool. I couldn’t agree more about how becoming a mom changes who you are. I never thought that motherhood would change my view of teaching, but it did. I have a 10-year-old daughter, Adeline, and an 8-year-old son, John. Enjoy your time with Cooper because it goes by so quickly. I enjoyed your video and look forward to working with you this semester. On a side note, my cousin lived in Dryden for awhile–it’s a cute small town.
    Thanks for sharing,

    1. Miranda,
I too, have a moon necklace from my wedding day! They are so awesome and such a nice gift!! I also want to say HI COOPER!!!! He is ADORABLE!!! I give you so much credit doing this program while being at home with your son but you should be so proud of yourself!! I look forward to working with you this semester!!

    2. Hi Erin!
Thank you! I never knew you could get a necklace with a moon in it, but my husband got this for me for Christmas! Its from a company called Moon Glow! I never really thought of it before, but you are right! Among other things, being a mom also changes my teaching style. For example, one thing I’ve realized is that I am more patient with my students. Your children sound great! I look forward to working with you this semester as well!

  2. Hi Miranda!

I am so happy to be taking a course again with you this semester, Cooper has gotten so big! He is adorable! you are so incredible to have done last semester pregnant and this one with a new born! That moon necklace is so special and I’m sure you will have it forever. I am so interested in star signs and astrology so this is amazing. I had no clue that was even possible to do. I can’t wait to continue to learn with you and read your work this semester.

  4. I couldn’t agree with you more about how you change when you become a mom. I had my daughters in my early 20’s. That changed my outlook on life. Going to school and raising little ones is not easy. I really like your necklace and the meaning behind it.
